Text tone keeps muting

Is a Focus enabled on your iPhone: Use Focus on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If so, make sure there isn't a setting causing this issue.

If there isn't a setting or the issue still persists, change the text tone to something different and see if the same issue occurs.

If it does help, make sure your iPhone is up-to-date. The latest version is iOS 15.3.1: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
