Everything on my display that should be there is there but the defining lines that separate the different areas have disappeared!
The 13 inch Macbook is 2020 and runs Monterey 12.1. No, I still use Chrome, but I did just "Customize my Screen. I never even thought of that!! Thanks so much!!

There are usually vertical lines on pages dividing email notifications from from the content area, on FB there are usually vertical lines defining areas as well. Is that a more helpful explanation, I hope?

Facebook on a Mac is generally viewed through a Browser, have you changed browsers?
is this problem limited to Mail ? has the presentation radically reformatted, or is the lack of lines is the only defect?
