The screen mirroring icon disappeared from my control center. I tried going into settings/ control to add it but it’s not there either. iPhone XS
Do you have a company or school email account on your iPhone, or does it have a device management profile installed?
Then I can’t think of anything else that would cause the screen mirroring icon to be missing. Have you tried restarting your phone?
I don’t think this would be a cause, and I can’t test it, but do you have any device on your Wi-Fi network that you could mirror to, such as a smart TV or an Apple TV?
Beyond that, use the Get Support link at the top of this page to work with Apple Support.
The screen mirroring icon is right there in the middle, the overlapped screen outline icon just below the Bluetooth icon.

You’re welcome. I don’t think they changed it just to make trouble, but I had trouble finding it after updating also.
