i do not remember my ipad password and am now locked out again. How do i reset it or find it?

If you have the latest iPadOS, 15.3, then see this, How to reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when you forgot your passcode - Apple Support This can maybe help prevent you from having the restore the device to factory. Otherwise, the information from Katana-San applies.
