Scratches on screen

when I close my screen and then open it the outline of the keys scratches the screen.

Touch screen sensitivity Why is the top left quarter of screen (portrait) often not touch sensitive? Especially when typing, the zaqwsxcde keys will not work (landscape). Often they will click when tapped but will not display. Most of the time after 20-30 sec they might display. Screen is not broken or cracked.
