If your Mac doesn't connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi - Apple Support has some suggestions.
They can be a bit complicated though. Since your Mac is new, you can also avail yourself of Apple's complimentary 90 day phone or chat support: Get Support
You can ask them anything related to setting up and using your new Mac.
