What is the latest OS I can install in a macbook pro 2007 Model NO. A1278.

If this is the A1278 MacBook Pro 2009, you can install OSX 10.11.6 El Capitan.

But, a A1211 MacBook Pro 2007 Core 2 Duo can only install OSX 10.7.5
