Apps do not download on other devices with same Apple ID

Hi,

We have multiple iPads all logged with the same Apple ID and they all have the setting to automatically download new apps downloaded on other devices turned on (Settings - iTuns and app store - Apps - ON).

But it does not work, when an iPad downloads a new app, it is not installed on any of our others.

I tried to active the iTunes Wi-Fi Sync to see if that could be related, but even if I put it on on the PCand synch to iPad, when I go in the iPad settings, it keeps telling me to turn it on on the pc.

Hi Slouper,

It sounds like the feature Automatic Downloads isn’t cooperating with all your devices. Let’s see if we can find out what’s causing this behavior.

You mentioned this is happening with multiple iPads. Are all the iPads on the same iPadOS or iOS versions? To verify, go to Settings > General > About.

If they are not all on the same OS version, have you verified the app you downloaded is compatible with the other versions?

Have you tried to Restart your iPads?
