I can't download macOS Monterey because the app store thinks my password is incorrect.

I have already reset my password, logged out and logged back in. Nothing is working, please help. This is an early 2015 MacBook Air. Apple says this computer is compatible with the update but the app store says my password is incorrect when I know that I am using the correct password. I updated the password yesterday just to be sure.

MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.10

Try rebooting up your notebook in Safe Mode, and then, try downloading the macOS installer.
