High Quality Webcams truly compatible with the M1 chip?

The message boards are filled with people experiencing problems when connecting their webcams to the Apple products with the M1 chip. I'm searching but can't find any reputable company that guarantees compatibility with the native M1 chip for their high-quality camera (like the BirdDog NDI) with glass lens, customizable light and contrast settings (and ideally pan-tilt-zoom features). I spent hours trying all the options suggested for Blackmagic etc and gave up as nothing works reliably.

Some say the Logitech C90x Pro or the Logitech Brio 4K but these are lower quality and reviews say they don't work with the M1 and Logitech's website doesn't say anything about M1 compatibility.

Any help appreciated.
