I cannot make my hotmail 'outgoing mail server' working while 'incoming mail server' works. I am not sure what I am not doing right?
Thank you for your help. I’m not sure what I did after my panic of deleting my account…I reset the ‘outgoing server’ and now it works🙏🙏🙏Happy girl 😃

You need to contact your email provider for settings.

Hotmail is not an Apple product, best you ask the app developer on their website/forum for support.
If you still can't set up your email account or save your email settings, contact your email provider.
I take it -‘hotmail’ it not an apple product. However, I can send messages from my laptop from my hotmail account but I cannot sent emails (only receive), from my hotmail account, from my IPhone.
I think something in setting on my phone is not right and I cannot work out what it is? I am asking for help there. Thank you,
