When speaking with someone that uses VoIP calling I get a huge amount of static and screeching on my end. The other party does not hear it. All my other calls are fine. I have an Apple XS. Any suggestions?

Is it one specific person? If it is then the problem is in their VoIP phone. If it is will all calls with VoIP users (which means most people today; there are very few “copper” phone connections left) then further troubleshooting is required.
