iphone will show 4g , but won't go to wifi. Settings show the wifi connected.

How can I get the phone to use wifi instead of 4g? It started this 5 days ago.

Have powered cycled the phone, and the latest ios.

iPhone 7, iOS 15

The problem is solved. Turned off the VPN on the cell service. Problem went away.

Help! When I’m out and there’s no WiFi, my phone does not connect to 4G even when WiFi is deselected in settings. Is this a provider or iPhone issue?
