How do I upload font to iMovie, Passion 1 Regular. I just got this computer and it seems to work differently that my 2017 as far font uploading goes.
I have got into Font Book, hit the +, navigated to the font, that I got of the internet. It makes Passion 1 Regular, in Passion 1 Bold. I must have Regular.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that any third party font will work in iMovie. Many of them do, but sometimes even those cause corruption issues.

Normally you just double click on the font file and the click on the Install button. Fonts that you install in MacOS should be available in all apps, via the app's own font menus.
