Apple Watch Exercise WAY OVER STATED

I've had my apple watch for quite some time now so I'm very familiar with my "rings" activity. Up until about mid December, I rarely if ever closed my exercise ring, which seemed correct based on my activity level. Suddenly, my exercise ring is closing sometimes as early as mid-day and my daily activity has NOT changed whatsoever..... yesterday, I was at 270% of goal, which is absolutely ridiculous. I've rebooted both my watch and phone, made sure all updates are applied and today I'm already at 50% of goal at 10:00am. All I did was walk from my car to my office, as I do most every day, and have NOT done any workouts. This is craziness, can anyone tell me what might be going on? I know the exercise ring measure heart rate, but I have a normally high HR to begin with. As far as I know nothing has changed in that regard in the last few months. And along with the overly active exercise ring, my MOVE ring is sometimes tracking with the exercise ring, and sometimes way ahead (which is what I would expect). HELP! Right now, the exercise ring is worthless to me.

If restarting doesn't help and this was my watch, I would unpair the watch from your iPhone then reboot the phone.

After they both reboot pair your watch back to the iPhone setting it up as new.
