AirPod Pro Replacement Case

My son lost the case to my AirPod Pros. I would like to order a replacement case from Apple. The only way to do this on apples website is to Get Support. When I request a Chat or Call, I'm required to enter the Serial Number of the AirPod Pros. When you click on "How to find your serial number", it says it's on your case on the underside of the lid. Obviously, this presents a problem since I don't have the case. Perhaps I have unrealistic expectations of Apple, but I expect better.
