All of a sudden I am seeing a new icon in top right of my screen. It looks like an eject icon. When I scroll over it I see the term SuperDrive (it is grayed out) and another eject icon. Well, I don't have a "SuperDrive" that I know of and I don't think I turned this on, on purpose (not knowing what it is). It is not there for any of the other computers. Can someone tell me what it is? I am just dragging it off the bar to get rid of it.

It's probably just a disc eject icon, and would work with any optical disc drive you have. Put in a CD, or a DVD, and then see if you can eject it with that icon.
If you don't need it or want it, you can hold down the Command key, then click the icon and drag it off your menu bar.

Apparently, you activated the eject menu extra. There are many built-in to the OS, located in /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/. Launching any of those will put an icon onto the menu bar. How you did that is for you discern because it's not a normal prefPane setting.
