MacBook Air 2020 M1 - Network dropping

Hello,

I have recently purchased MacBook Air 2020 M1 and last couple days I am noticing my home wi-fi network is dropping all of sudden. Then I have to reconnect again. I have other device and old MacBook that don't have this issue. It is very annoying when you are in the middle of office work.

Please advise.

I have MB Air M1 plugged into a Samsung Monitor via USB-C for power and display. I did the following 3 things seem to have massively improved the situation:

1) Disable unlock with iWatch

2) I have wrapped tinfoil around the top of the usb-C cable

3) I am using the back connector

which of these is fixing the issue I don’t know but gone from dropping out multiple times a day to no drop outs
