Contacts deleted after iOS 15.3.1 update

Contacts deleted after iOS 15.3.1 update

After updating iPhone to iOS 15.3.1, most of the contacts got deleted. Any idea how to revert or recover my contacts. I have 13 Pro Max in case that matters.

Settings, Contacts, Accounts.

Ensure the relevant account where you keep your contacts is there.

Also ensure contacts is toggled on in the account

Hi,

Thanks for your help. I didn't know your contacts are stored in your email account. I recently deleted my Hotmail account from the mail application as I'm using more the outlook app.

Anyway, problem solved.
