Are you referring to voice calls? If so, in India it just beeps indicating another caller on the line. That's it. If you have the merge call feature enabled then it will show. Contact your carrier they need to enable this feature.
FaceTime it will show.
SMS, MMS, WiFi Call, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting, Call Merge, Conference Call, Hotspot, VoiceMail (Visual or Normal) all are Carrier Specific features. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider), the agency that issued the SIM / eSIM to you.
