my ipad is disabled and my son was using it and can't remember passcode, it's not linked to my apple id to manage it HELP

Hi

My ipad was used by my son for work, he's returned it to me and couldn't remember the passcode or what itunes he'd used DOH

The ipad is now disabled. What do I do??

Click here and follow the instructions. Restoring the iPad requires plugging it into a computer with iTunes installed, or a Mac running Catalina or newer.

You only need to concern yourself with the Apple ID involved if you run into the activation lock afterward.
