OpenGL 2.1, sould be 4.1

I have a MacBook Pro mid 2014 13-inch, basically stock, running Big Sur 11.6.3 at the moment of writing this.

The official table of supported OpenGL versions says I should have GL 4.1 support, but all I can get on my machine is 2.1. Is there any way to enable 4.1 or update to it?

Thanks for any replies.

Edit:

I know OpenGL is deprecated, but as to my understanding these versions should still be supported.

I do not intend to move to Metal any time soon as to the nature of my projects, so please do not recommend it to me :).

What do you mean by "see and use"?

OpenGL is a crazy API. I can totally see why Apple dumped it.
