Due to spam I need to disconnect an old email address from apple mail, can you tell me how?
I take it offline but it eventually comes back online on its own and I get buried in spam.
Also, this email address is the same email address used on my apple ID, how can I change that?

Make sure you turn of Find My Phone before signing out of the old ID. Once signed out and Find My Phone is off, then sign in with the new ID, then turn Find My Phone back on.

what if someone else has stolen your mac computer?
would the person who stole the computer be able to be tracked to recover the stolen computer?
Dear Eric Root, Im sorry, I did not see your reply until now, my inbox was swamped with junk at the time I posted this. I was
able to change my apple ID and disconnect the old email address and actually did what you recommended. I found instruction and a video somewhere on apple support a few days after I posted this. Thank you!
