BROKE MY WATCH. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

A very unfortunate thing happened to me. Last week as I was leaving in a hurry I dropped my iPhone in the sidewalk by the car. I ran over it and the back of it got smashed. so now I have a broken watch. I did take the information from my iPhone ... in regards to the serial # and stuff. What would you all recommend I do. Should I get it fixed or just go ahead and get a new one... Let me know fello apple aficionados. And just as a backup question... I tried putting the serial number in but apple says that it does not exist. So I am trying to figure that one down.
