Where may I download Safari 15.3(16612.4.9.1.8) for Big Sur? It doesn't seem to be available here: https://support.apple.com/downloads/macos

Yes, I do know that. The problem is that it is Big Sur which didn't receive an update to patch the hole in WebKit that was released for Monterey(12.2.1). I wanted to patch that security hole on my old macbook that I still use for legacy software that isn't compatible with apple silicon. That is why I'm searching for a download link.

In my case it eventually got installed automatically without any action on my side. Check your safari build number to verify if it happened in your case. I was unfortunately unable to locate a download link..

I have a similar problem. I upgraded my computer to Big Sur and Safari is not there!

Is there any way a single download can deliver the file, without having to go through a full hard disk wipe / reinstall?

I can get FireFox as an independent App and so what is the difference.

I tried the obvious and looking in the App Store but it is not there either.

Normally individual Safari downloads are not available. It is installed as part of the Macs operating system and is upgraded when the OS is upgraded.
