Text bubbles

Hey! I was wondering, why do my text bubbles show up as black? I don’t get the traditional green and blue. Is it just because I have dark mode turned on? I would think I would still get the coloured bubbles though.

When you send a message, your text will be in a colored speech bubble. It is blue if you are sending an iMessages, and green if the message is being sent as a traditional SMS.

The speech bubbles on the messages you receive assume the color of your system.

Dark Mode produces dark speech bubbles, etc.
