Apple TV
My boyfriend brought home a Apple TV around Christmas. There was no box & there is nothing on the Apple cube or remotes. I need the 8 digit number or a QR scan code so I can add Apple TV to my Home App.
Can anyone tell me the 8 digits?

The Apple TV box would be linked through your Apple ID account for iCloud services, and automatically recognized. It should appear in the Home app after setup. There is no 8 digit number or QR code for this device. The Apple TV box is not a HomeKit accessory like the others. It helps controlling the other devices, while having very limited scenes and automations for itself.

For a new Apple TV box, complete the setup, and assign it a room.
For a second hand device, first reset to factory settings, then set it up as new.
