Apple Watch Series 7 - Yes I’m that person.

I literally just got the Apple Watch series 7 yesterday. I was too bloomin eager to get it up and running, I’ve pressed inside the hole on the right hand side with a SIM card key. And I pressed it quite hard as you would to get the sim holder out.

what I want to know is what is this hole for, I pressed it hard because I thought I needed to put a sim in, yes I’m stupid and I realise its an e-sim Watch blah blah, but I want to know if I’ve damaged it or reduced its water resistance efficacy. Do I need to send it in for a repair? I wanted to use it all the time including swimming etc, so I need to know what I’ve potentially damaged.

The mic is working absolutely fine, have tested multiple times etc.

the Watch is still absolutely fine, but im concerned as I don’t know what that hole is for and I felt I pressed very hard and feel I’ve damaged whatever it is. Please help. And please no ‘durrr’ comments. I’ve told myself them enough in the past 12hrs ha!

It is possible you have compromised the water resistance of your Apple Watch if your poking broke any of the water seals.
