Backup old text messages (SMS) history from iPhone on Monderey Mac

Hi! Can anyone help, please?

I try to make an backup of an SMS chat. By now I've arranged the icloud sync, but it don't include the old messages from my iPhone (it starts blank..).

How can I make an backup from the previous chat?

Your messages are backed up in your device backup (if iCloud messages is not on) or synced to iCloud. If you need to export messages, you'll need to investigate third-party solutions as there is no such native ability on the iPhone.
