According to:

About Apple Watch water resistance - Apple Support

"Showering with Apple Watch Series 2 and newer is ok, but we recommend not exposing Apple Watch to soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and perfumes as they can negatively affect water seals and acoustic membranes. Apple Watch should be cleaned with fresh water and dried with a lint free-cloth if it comes in contact with anything other than fresh water."

Theoretically, yes. Would I? No. Ozzie1910 says Apple Watch is waterproof. Apple Watch is NOT waterproof. It is water resistant and that is a significant difference. As javaliga correctly posts, one can shower with Apple Watch, but exposing it to soaps is not recommended. I'm not sure how it would be possible to shower and avoid getting any soap or shampoo on the watch.

I would NOT shower with my Apple Watch. If it becomes water damaged in any way, Apple Warranty will not cover it.
