Is it safe to delete the FaceTime app?

I'm on iPhone 7 v 15.3.1 , iPad OS 15.3.1 & MacMini v Monterey 12.

I don't use FaceTime , is it safe to delete the app ? Is there any need to keep it as far as functionality ? Docs & data are 500 KB , I welcome the extra space .

You can delete from Home Screen and send it to the apps library
