How long do I have to wait for my security question to be reset or try again.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.  This is a place where other Apple users can submit questions or respond to others to help lend a hand. It sounds like you have began account recovery and would like to know how long this can take. Right?

After requesting account recovery, you should get an email with the date and time of when you can regain access. There may be additional information you can provide to help shorten your wait. Check out How to use account recovery when you can’t reset your Apple ID password for further details.

If you are locked out for answering security questions incorrectly and are just waiting to be able to give it another shot to answer correctly it’s 8 hours.
