sim card not supported by iphone 8

Hello:

I received my iphone 8 as gift from US.

It do not accept SIM cards emited in Haiti.

in Settigs >> General >> About >> SIM card is locked for another service provider.

My question is : How can I unlocked it myself?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 15

You need to contact the carrier the phone is locked to in order to get it unlocked. Start here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201328.
