100GB MDISC Copy Failure

I have a LG MDisc burner internal; and a OWC Mercury Pro External.

I am using Verbatim and Ritek 100GB M Discs.

The folder I need to copy to MDisc is 35GB. The files in the folder are:

8GB, 7GB, 20GB. I attempted using both burner, internal and external - then using both

Verbatim and Ritek 100GB discs to copy over, then to burn, with no success.

What ever I do I get:

'There is not enough space on BD-RE Drive. You need an additional 25.9 GB to copy these files.'

What's to do? I have a client who insists on his data be written to 100GB M disc - and no other media.

Thanks for any advise.

I think what your running into is the buffering into the internal drive does not support burning a 100gb disc. In looking up the OWC burner,I run into the same thing . It will burn 25 gb disc's. I think you need software that can set it up to do it. I found this for free . But I do not know if it will solve your problem.https://www.nch.com.au/burn/index.html?kw=burner%20program%20for%20mac&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsZHH1daC9gIVbyCtBh1DFAFREAAYASAAEgIfqPD_BwE Roxio might do it, but it's not free. Are those Disc's CDRW? Are trying to burn in separate sessions? Have you tried playing with the write speeds?
