For some reason I can't message anyone who has a android from my new iphone. When I go to settings it says "waiting activation" under the iMessages. It's been more than 24 hours since I turned on my new phone. How can I fix this?

This type of messaging (called SMS) is performed using your cellular carrier’s methods. Seek their assistance.
