Help I bought a new phone and started taking pictures and videos and now that I’m back home I need to upload my photos to my computer. When I plug my phone in it asked me to update as a new phone or from a back up. I don’t want to loose my photos what can I do?

You could also upload the photos to iCloud and copy them again to your computer after that:
