Ipad to Macbook mirror & control

Is there a way to mirror my iPad to my MacBook? I'm on zoom (on other people's meetings) a lot, but my information is on my iPad. I would like to be able to read from my iPad without looking down or away at it. I would like to mirror my iPad to my MacBook and scroll my iPad using my MacBook. Is this even possible and if so, how?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.6

Hi there 1life1love1king,

We understand you'd like to mirror and control your iPad screen on your MacBook while in Zoom meetings on your Mac.

You can use AirPlay to mirror the screen of your iPad to your Mac, but this may impact the Zoom meeting.

Learn more about using AirPlay here: Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror the screen of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

This page has additional information: System requirements for Continuity on Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch

Alternatively, you may be able to AirDrop the content from your iPad to your Mac to read from it there: How to use AirDrop on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps.

1life1love1king,

Thanks for sharing those additional details with us.

Check out the compatible Mac models for using AirPlay to Mac below from System requirements for Continuity on Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch:

"AirPlay to Mac

AirPlay to Mac works best with these devices and operating systems:

iOS 14 or later

  • iPhone 7 or later
  • iPad Pro (2nd generation) or later
  • iPad (6th generation) or later
  • iPad Air (3rd generation) or later
  • iPad mini (5th generation) or later

macOS Monterey or later

  • MacBook introduced in 2018 or later
  • MacBook Pro introduced in 2018 or later
  • MacBook Air introduced in 2018 or later
  • Mac mini introduced in 2020 or later
  • iMac introduced in 2019 or later
  • iMac Pro (all models)
  • Mac Pro introduced in 2019 or later

If the supported Mac has the AirPlay Receiver setting in Sharing preferences set to allow AirPlay for either Everyone or “Anyone on the same network,” you can AirPlay to Mac at a lower video resolution from older iPhone, iPad, and Mac models and operating systems."

Regards.
