Clicked a link sent via instagram from a friend....

Hey there im hoping someone can put my mind at ease... I clicked a link that my friend sent via instagram and as soon as I was redirected to the landing page of said link it asked me to put my instagram password in. I of course did not oblige and I shut down all my apps and put my phone on airplane mode immediately and just sat scrolling the net on my MacBook for advice for 30 mins! I have reset my Gmail and Apple ID passwords as well as set up a recovery key and I went back on my phone to change my instagram password but now im wondering if that was a mistake?! Any guidance/reassurance would be appreciated!
