iPhone SE (2nd gen) could not be updated to 15.3.1. Unknown error (3014).

Cannot update iOS from 15.3 to 15.3.1 due to unknown error (3014).

Tried update directly on iPhone SE (2nd generation) and also tried to

download/install from my MacBookPro running macOS 10.15.7.

Same error. How do I fix?

This did not help.

I am able to download the iOS install software directly onto my iPhone over wi-fi network but when I click to "Install" the update there is a long wait then the error message appears saying could not be updated ... error 3014.

I deleted the update from the iPhone and re-downloaded it to my MacBookPro instead. Plugged phone into MacBook with usb and tried to install from the computer. Same thing happens. The software update downloads in both cases but fails to verify and install.

As stated above ... MacOs version 10.15.7. (My old MacBookPro runs too slow on Monterey I am told.)

iTunes no longer exists in Catalina ... it is now Music v 1.0.6.10. Updates are handled via MacOS finder using a USB cable.

No VPN being used. No Security Software on. Checked hosts file ... no problem there either.

The download file named "IOS 15.3.1 for iPhone SE" seems to be complete at 6.21 GB, but it still cannot be verified/installed.
