If I already have a Paramount Plus Account, and activate Paramount Plus through the Apple App will I be billed for using it on the Apple App?

I purchased The Paramount Plus w/Showtime only to later realize I cannot view the App on my PS5. So I then decided maybe I can access Paramount through my Apple App since I’ve already paid for it. I then clicked one week free viewing of Paramount that is offered on Apple App., only to realize I can’t view the Smithsonian Shows include with the premium package of Paramount that I purchased. So now I’m wondering if Apple is going to charge me for a Paramount package because I’m watching it through the Apple App. Although I’ve already purchased an annual Paramount Premium package?

Subscriptions to Paramount+ and/or Showtime as started inside the Apple TV app on any of your devices, are valid in the Apple TV app on any of your other devices, when signed in with the same Apple ID account.

Subscriptions to Paramount+ and/or Showtime as started outside the Apple TV app are not valid for channels inside the Apple TV app. These are different types of subscription, with different terms and conditions, different perks and limitations. They are not exchangeable as such, without canceling and re-subscribing. You will be billed after the free trial.

Subscriptions to Paramount+ and/or Showtime as started outside the Apple TV app should be viewed in the Paramount+ app and/or Showtime app respectively. Subscriptions started in-app for these content provider apps on Apple devices (with billing through Apple) may not be recognized on third party devices. Subscriptions started with these content providers directly will be recognized after sign-in to these apps with the content provider account.

Hello -KD-,

Thanks for reaching out using Apple Support Communities!

We understand you want to know the details of your subscription with Paramount+.

We found a link from Paramount+ to help with What is the Paramount+ and SHOWTIME bundle?

If you are already subscribed, you should be able to use your Apple devices, found under the 'On what devices can I watch SHOWTIME?' section.

Have you made sure you're signed in using the same account?

If needed, you can use this Apple Support page to view and manage your subscriptions through Apple: Subscriptions and Billing - Official Apple Support

We hope this helps to answer your question about your Paramount+ subscription.

Cheers!
