iCloud restore stuck

Recently restored data to iPad Pro 5 and restore has n]been stuck with “100mb left to download’ for over a week. There’s plenty of storage left, and I also deleted a heap of unused apps. What to do? I’ve also stopped restore in settings. I can’t download latest iOS until this is resolved.

I was referring to available space on the IPad. (Actual device). Somehow, the issue has resolved itself overnight, to my surprise. (It has been an issue since February 8, when I did the initial restore onto the new device). Thank you for your replies anyway - I appreciate your time.

Hi cashearman,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! From our understanding, you are restoring an iCloud backup and it will not complete, do we have that right?

You can try the steps in this article to troubleshoot: If restore from iCloud backup failed.

Hope that helps!

cashearman,

You mentioned that there is 150GB of storage available. Is this available on your actual device storage or on your iCloud storage?

What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage?

You'll also want to make sure your iPad is connected to a strong Wi-Fi network.
