I forgot my password for my iPhone. Online it says I need to hard rest it but I don’t have the last two years backed up. So I was wondering if there was a way to reset the password without losing everything on my phone.

No, there is no way to fix this without erasing your iPhone.
Don't worry, super simple fix, but NOTICE THIS MAY ERASE ANYTHING THAT ISN'T SAVED TO ICLOUD. It's been a while since I've done this but just know that you could lose stuff that isn't backed up to icloud.

If you don't have a mac i'm pretty ur screwed but apple does make it super easy to contact them just go to Apple Support and they will connect you to a real person who can def help you out but sometimes u get someone who... just. doesn't. know. anything. Good Luck
