I think I've tried almost every setting available, but I can't seem to prevent calendar event suggestions when I type "Friday night" or even just the word "Tuesday" in the Notes app in iOS 15. The underlining and corresponding linking is distracting and interferes with productivity. Has anyone found a way to permanently disable this "feature?"

We're happy to help with the suggestions in the Notes app. We recommend disabling Siri suggestions in the Notes app. Go to Settings > Siri & Search, scroll down to Notes, and turn off "Learn from this App". You can also disable Siri suggestions for any app using the same process. Get more info on this feature here:

Thanks for the follow-up info. You mentioned earlier that you were getting calendar event suggestions in Notes. Did you also disable "Learn from this app" for the Calendar in Siri & Search? If not, go ahead and disable the Calendar as well, and let us know if this issue persists.

Yes, it is disabled in both Calendar and Notes, as accessed from the Siri & Search menu within Settings. If I type "Friday night" as my heading (or title) of a note, or if I type the same in the body of the note, or even something simple like "this afternoon," it is highlighted in yellow and underlined.
For reference, I'm working on iOS 15.3.1, but this was an issue with earlier iOS 15 versions as well. It occurs on both my iPhone and iPad.
