resetting my macOS without an apple keyboard
I’d like to completely reset my macOS High Sierra. I do not have an Apple keyboard.

No, but you should use a USB keyboard instead of a wireless keyboard.
Personally I use and keep around an inexpensive Logitech MK 120 keyboard and mouse and for things like that.
