Hi yosalyn, thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.
If you have iPadOS 15.2 or later you can reset your forgotten iPad Passcode using your AppleID and associated Password and the following explains how to do this.
How to reset your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch if you've forgotten your passcode – Apple Support (AU)
If your iPad has an older version of iPadOS or is disabled, you will need to connect your iPad to a PC or Mac and the following link explains what to do:

If you do not have a PC or Mac you could use a family or friends PC.
You can also make an appointment and have your iPad inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider). Please use this link to find one in your Country Apple – Location Selector. After going through the process, you will be given all the options available.
