Display will not rotate

I have an iPhone 8 and the display will not rotate when changing to horizontal.

Understand that not all screens will rotate from portrait to landscape, so make sure it is a screen that will rotate. Then open Control Center and look for the Orientation Lock there. The icon looks like a padlock with a circular arrow around it. If it is white background with red lock, it is turned on. Tap it again to turn it off. Then you should get screen rotation.
