hello, I'm trying to apply the camcorder effect on a video I shot on my iPhone 13 in the final cut pro timeline and instead of appearing white, it is gray.
this also happened with a title tile but I figured out turning the exposure up turns it from gray to white how can I adjust an effect that is having the same issue?

Of this is an HDR project you have to use color correction to increase the luminance of the effects and titles.
As Tom says, if your footage and project are HDR, you'll need to do a few things. Here's great info on how to work with HDR footage by Mark at Ripple Training.
thank you for replying! It's an HDR project and all videos were shot in 4K then imported to the final cut pro library. I'm a beginner to final cut pro so does that mean I'll have to adjust the color of the video specifically using the color inspector or is it something else if you don't mind breaking it down.
