I have an old Apple camera (Thunderbolt ?) that I used in my first Mac mini ... first model. I'd like to connect this camera to my M1 Mac mini. Is there still that adapter.

If it is the old original iSight cam (looked like a tiny telescope) then it connected via Firewire. Apple has a Firewire to Thunderbolt adapter available just not sure if the camera would work on the M1.

Have a great Day.

The original iSight camera used a powered, Firewire 400 (IEEE 1394a) cable, and Apple only now sells a thunderbolt to Firewire 800 adapter, which would be physically incompatible with the 2003 vintage camera requirements. However, this iSight camera requires support in the operating system for a QuickTime video digitizer and custom Apple Firewire support — which very likely have been removed from current releases of macOS.
