Safari does not find the installer of macOS High Sierra in App Store

I am trying to download the full installer of High Sierra from this link "https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683

Installer link within Safari in El Capitan to upgrade to High Sierra is not launching the App Store. I bought a mid 2011 Mac mini, and I replaced the hard drive with an SSD. Internet recovery installed Lion for me, so I then upgraded to El Capitan. Now, when I try to upgrade to High Sierra, which is the newest MacOS version that the computer supports, the link I click on that is supposed to launch the App Store just opens up an "App Store Preview" page for High Sierra and does absolutely nothing else. What am I doing wrong, and how can I complete this upgrade?

High Sierra installer on imac. I'm needing to upgrade from el capitan to high sierra on a mid 10 imac. I was following directions in a thread on this site but when I used the safari browser to get to the app store and hit 'open' to download the installer I get a message that says: This copy of the Install macOS High Sierra.app application is damaged, and can’t be used to install macOS. I'd appreciate any help in fixing this and getting me to an install so I can get back to work on my computer. I see other places claiming to have a copy to download but am nervous about using them. Thanks

Change the https at the beginning of the download link for it to macappstore.

Thank you for the help. That worked well. But why apple doesn't fix that.

I only spent two days on this when that can be fixed in 2 seconds.
