missing notes after software update

I understand that the Notes that were associated with your Gmail account are no longer on your iPhone. Have you accessed GMAIL on the website and ensured whether you can see the notes there or not? You also may want to try removing and adding the GMAIL account in your mail app if you notice that the notes are still there on the GMAIL website.
